Skin care during winter

Dry skin in winter is a major problem for many people. It’s caused by the lack of moisture due to low temperatures. So, the only way women can get rid of such skin troubles is through application of aloe Vera. It’s a naturally occurring source of moisture that can ensure that the skin does not lose its moisture content. Also, one can increase the water intake during the winter months to remove the chapped skin.

Almost 59% females in the world who are aged above 18 suffer from the problem of dry skin in the months of winter. They have dry skin even when they apply moisturizers constantly to restore the skin moisture. The problem of dry skin in winters can become more severe if one wears heavy clothes and takes showers for longer hours. Hot water showers can take all the moisture content of your skin even when you have been applying so many moisturizers to ward it.

Aloe Vera provides many essential vitamins to the body like B1, A, B2, B12, B6, E and C. such vitamins can’t be produce inside the body. So, they are necessary to be taken for a steady availability in the body. Aloe Vera makes sure that you don’t become victim of cold and influenza in the winter season. It also does not have any side effects of the drugs that are prescribed by the doctors for treating colds. Eat food substances like gooseberries that are rich source of vitamin C. Apart from curing the skin, it can also prevent the occurrence of immunity related diseases in a person.

Dry skin lacks many components like amino acids and urea which can only be supplied by moisturizers. Such components when depleted in the skin reduce its ability to bind moisture leading to dryness. So, the right kind of skin care products for this season should have an ample amount of such components. So, ideal substances for this season are those that have a high amount of urea. People can also get atopic dermatitis in this season. It can lead to dryness and itching on the skin. Therefore one should keep the skin clean in this season apart from focusing on keeping it hydrated. Good hygiene products can also repair the destroyed skin in this season. It can open the pores of the skin taking out all bacteria. Face wash and hydrating gels should be a part of such hygiene. Apart from that, use toners for killing the bacteria and eradicating the germs.

Consumption of the right diet can also ensure that you are able to get rid of your dry skin. Try to eat a balanced diet which has high amount of oils and fats to retain the moisture content of the skin. Try to have an intake that consists of nuts, omega 3 oils, flax seed oil, olive oil and avocado. Using such methods is far better in comparison to Botox which can be quite painful and expensive.
